ARTIST STATEMENT
Introducing ‘The New Collection’ a series of paintings celebrating the new. In my piece New Heights, I explore the intricate interplay between local wildlife and the natural world through the technique of double exposure. This process allows me to seamlessly weave elements of the animal's surroundings into its form, creating a rich tapestry that invites viewers to see beyond traditional boundaries. This serves as a visual metaphor for the multitude of perspectives we share—reminding us that our perception is boundless and ever-evolving.
The theme of connection resonates deeply throughout my work. By dismantling preconceived barriers, I reveal the potential for transformation and growth.
